This Isn't Just Coaching.
It's Joy.

Joy with Jackrabbits athletes on the track

At Joy's Jackrabbits, coaching means more than teaching kids to run, jump, and throw. It means greeting every child by name. Celebrating effort before outcome. Creating an environment where a 4-year-old and a 12-year-old both leave the track feeling proud, capable, and eager to come back. We're growing — and we're looking for people who understand that the most important thing a coach can teach has nothing to do with speed.

What We Believe
About Coaching

We believe a child who feels seen will try harder than a child who feels judged.
We believe encouragement is a coaching technique, not a soft skill.
We believe the best coaches memorize names, not just drills.
We believe energy is contagious — and so is joy.
We believe parents are part of the experience, not spectators.
We believe how a child feels when they leave the track matters more than how fast they ran.

A Day on the Track

Every session at Joy's Jackrabbits follows a rhythm built on decades of experience. Coaches arrive early. They greet athletes and parents by name. The session opens with a team huddle and a weekly theme — kindness, courage, teamwork. Kids rotate through age-appropriate drills that blend technique with fun. The energy is high, the tone is encouraging, and every child gets personal attention. At the end, Littles and Middles receive a Joy's Jackrabbits sticker tied to the week's theme — a small ritual that kids treasure. Parents leave knowing their child was coached, seen, and celebrated.

Join the Team

We'd love to meet you.

Our coaches are the heartbeat of everything we do. Every experience a child has at Joy's Jackrabbits—every smile, every breakthrough, and every reason they can't wait to come back — starts with the person on the track with them. We're not looking for a perfect resume; we're looking for people who light up around kids and believe that movement should be joyful. Tell us a little about you and your story.
